This space is meant to help researchers at the UCSC to disseminate what they are currently engaged in with a view to obtaining comment from their colleagues etc.

Let's list out our main research interests so that each research group can develop their own area in this wiki...

Here are some new areas which we should plan on doing reseach:

  • Computational intelligence, soft computing & agent/mobile technology
  • Embedded and Ubiquitous Systems, Control Systems and AI Robotics
  • Hardware/Architecture, operating systems & system software, Parallel Computing, programming languages, compilers
  • Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
  • Security and Privacy software systems
  • ...

We also have a Lunch Time Seminar Series each Thursday from 1-2 pm where we discuss research interests as well.
